Lesico CleanTech profile

Lesico CleanTech is a private cleantech company with a business focus on developing and commercializing sustainable technologies which recycle or significantly reduce the volume of liquid waste, primarily desalination rejected brine. The solutions not only help users comply with stringent regulation, but results in substantial savings in real estate, installation and operational costs.
The company was founded in Israel and over time has patented a number of platform treatment technologies which enable liquid waste minimization by enhanced evaporation and a cost effective high recovery desalination process with an innovative electro dialysis membrane stack. Our products and services are designed to reduce significantly the acquisition and operation costs of inland brine discharge installations and optimize the use of natural resources and provide significant reduction in footprint.
While clean water technology development and commercialization is our main function it is also a key to addressing the needs of our clients who seek cost effective sustainable brine discharge solutions which comply with ever growing stringent regulations aimed to prevent contamination of ground&water resources. We also provide our clients with specialized advisory services for implementing the value-added solutions.
Lesico CleanTech participate in collaborative research and development projects with the department of water research in Ben Gurion University (BGU) and the support of the OCS (Office of the Chief Scientist) in Israel. The company enjoys a direct interface with BGU’s world experts in environmental hydrology, microbiology and meteorology and continuously exploring for innovations that will expand its product base and value proposition.
The WAIV (Wind Aided Intensified eVaporation) system is a commercially available proprietary technology that has been widely demonstrated and licensed outside of Israel. Successful commercial beta unit tests are operated in Israel, Australia and Mexico.
We provide access to our technologies through flexible licensing, EPC or project partnership arrangements, as appropriate.
